Create an account and the register will send you an email. When you have received the email you need to confirm you want to join by filling in your registration details. Simply click the link in the email to confirm your request.
Search the register: to find someone to share your car or to find a car to share. Likewise, other members will be able to see your suburb and travel times when they search. Your name and contact details will only appear on the register when you have confirmed you want to share your details.
If you find a match on the register: simply click on the enquire about car pooling with this person button and the Car Pooling Register will email the other person to ask if they would be interested in talking to you.
If the other person indicates they would like to speak to you, you will each receive an email with the other person’s details. It is then up to you to make contact and arrange the details.
Once you have found one or more car pooling partners, complete the Green Commuter Car Park form and return it to Parking Branch to apply for access to park in the Green Commuter Car Park. Once you have your orange parking permit and your Smart Parker Card, you are ready to go.
If you do not have a match, your details will still be on the car pool register. Remember as the database grows, so does the potential for matching.
