Any QEIIMC staff member regardless of their employer who qualifies for staff parking on the QEIIMC site for official work purposes are able to apply for a parking permit.

Please note that a parking permit does not guarantee a parking bay.  Also, a note on the dashboard is not acceptable in place of a permit.

All the parking permits that are issued are vehicle specific.  Your vehicle registration will appear on the permit and you can only use it for that vehicle.  If you change your vehicle you will also have to change your permit.  A permit found on any other vehicle other than the registered vehicle will be revoked.

Parking permits are issued every year and staff are required to reapply each year.

There are five different colours of parking permits:

1. Blue permits – priority 1 permit holders
2. Purple permits – priority 3 permit holders
3. Green permits – Green Commuter permit holders
4. Orange Permits – Car poolers permit holders
5. Brown Permits – Graylands Hospital permit holders.

Parking fees

Parking fees at QEIIMC is $390 per annum.  The current parking permit cost remains at a significant discount compared to the full cost of commercial alternatives near by.
